To join SDCC's mentorship program, you'll need to be nominated by your school counselor. If you're interested in being matched with a mentor, here are the steps:
Talk to your school counselor about your interest in SDCC
Ask if they would consider nominating you for the program
If nominated, you'll receive an email from SDCC with next steps
Our program works closely with high school counselors to identify students who would benefit from additional support during the college application process. Counselors understand both our program and their students' needs, helping ensure successful mentor-mentee relationships.
